2011 was Busy Signal’s last performance in Nairobi alongside dancehallers RDX and Ding Dong.

In a video released today morning, Busy Signal has confrimed Nairobi concert alonsgide other two concerts in Zimbabwe. Coming in the wake of his a bittersweet debut concert in New York where his performance was cut short, Busy Signal will be accompanied with his band on his second Nairobi tour.

Last year, Shashamane International on their 32nd anniversary brought mega star, Romain Virgo for one of the best reggae concerts ever to be staged in Nairobi.

This year, on their 33rd outing, one of the most reliable dancehall artists and lyricists out there Busy Signal, is set to headline the show alongside his band and a star line up of local sound systems and artists.

Always an artist with something up his sleeve, the Turf President is an artist who never disappoints at all.

Reanno Gordon, Busy Signal continues to stand out as an artist in 2017. He released his latest album Fresh From Yaad right after his visa to the US was granted.

He stepped out onto the musical scene in 2002, modeling his career after international reggae icon, Bounty Killer. Already having done a US and Europe tour this year, the star is set to rekindle glorious moments with his Kenyan fans where his single, Free Up has been on high rotation and at one point dubbed the national reggae anthem for Kenya in 2016.

The concert is dubbed “The Free Up” peace concert. This concert will give local Kenyan reggae musicians and artists a chance to showcase their talent to a diverse audience and promote the Kenyan reggae community as a whole.

Mix and mingle with Kenyans from various walks of life, artists and the “peace possie” and groove to the vocal stylings of Jamaican reggae superstar artist Busy Signal backed by local super stars and Kenya’s most prolific dancehall/reggae soundsystems and DJs.
