That would be when I won the award.
Couture Africa: Has winning AHA had an impact in your life and career?
“Winning the award for me has greatly exposed me. I’ve experienced growth. I’ve gotten more clients. Confidence has increased on both ends (my side and the clients’ side). I’ve had to work hard to be better.
Couture Africa: What advice would you give the 2016 competitors?
They should know that it isn’t all about winning. It is also about inspiring others. As long as we do this, we’re all winners. You meet other hairdressers, you learn a lot, it makes you confident and it makes you face your fears.
