Nigerian Hip-hop hitmaker Ycee teams up with multi-talented South African DJ Maphorisa on the remix to his hit song “Omo Alhaji”.

Born Alejo Martin Oludemilade on the 29th of January 1993, Ycee is an award winning hip hop artist from Nigeria. He is signed to TINNY ENTERTAINMENT – a Nigerian Record Label. His music career kicked off in December 2012 with the release of his first official single “Smile on Me” produced by Jay Sleek. His other singles including “Pass Me” and “Amen” featuring Mbryo.

The song and its video rode away to the top of Nigeria’s charts, clubs and the streets popularizing the phrase ‘Who’s your Daddy? Ycee’s debut EP: THE FIRST WAVE will be released in October 2016.

Both Ycee and DJ Maphorisa have been to Kenya recently. Ycee had his debut Kenyan club performance in Nairobi in August, after which her met several Kenyan artistes, including P-Unit, on potential collaborations. Maphorisa too is no stranger to Kenya. Last weekend he accompanied Wizkid to a Mombasa concert. He has also worked in Kenya for several months this year while producing top African artistes and Trey Songz working on Coke Studio Africa season 4.
