Khaligraph Jones is at it again! The controversial rapper released his latest cypher dubbed “The Khaligraph Jones Presents” Cypher 2016. Papa Jones took a jab at Nigerian artists accusing them of acting like they are doing ‘us’ a favor with their songs, calling their songs annoying and monotonous.

…toka hapa na hizo ngoma za Nigeria kwa TV..

…from Yemi Alade, Iyanya na Flavour…

….hawa mafala niaje hujifanya nikaa favour wanatufanyia..

…na hizo ngoma zinaudhi, they all sound same…

Papa Jones featured some of Kenya’s fast rising rappers; Domani Wakadinali, Ridiq, Scar, Ares GG who all went ham in the hard hitting cypher. Khaligraph is no stranger to cyphers: having earned his stripes as one of the best battle MCs due to his peerless flow, confidence and wordplay.

However, it is disturbing why Khaligraph Jones would blast Nigerian artists, since he has previously worked with MI and most recently Cynthia Morgan (two of Nigeria’s top music artists). Khaligraph even did a remix of (Nigeria’s pop star) Wizkid’s ‘Ojuelegba‘ hit, which further helped his single to get famous. The cypher has since rekindled the subliminal row between Kenyan artists and their Nigeria counterparts. Jaguar recently went on record claiming that he encountered double standards during his collapsed collaboration with Iyanya.  Interestingly enough, Iyanya approached him for a collaboration shortly after securing one with Sauti Sol. Jaguar too, accused Nigerian artists of exploitation and using East African artists as launching pads for greener pastures.

Khaligraph Jones then took the drama a notch higher when he claimed to be better than Sarkodie (..Sarkodie ni minor..) who is arguably one of the best rappers in Africa.
