Ali Kiba is rising high after a monumental signing to mega label Sony Music Entertainment- Africa. The label made in roads into East Africa back in 2012 signing Uganda’s gifted rapper Keko and Kenya’s very own femcee Xtatic, at their peek then. Xtatic would shortly go quiet after a video or two and so would Keko. The multi album deals were reportedly to run for 5yrs which could only mean the two could on be their way out of the label soon.

Whether the two are related is a question for another day however Xtatic took to social media to caution the latest member, Bongo sensation Ali Kiba. The post clearly shows things are not all rosy at Sony Music after the two East African deals turned tragic. Controversy and confusion clouded the label on just how many continental artists are signed to the label after Nigerian pop star Davido claimed to be the first African to be signed to the label early this year. Artists like Nnneka Egbuna (Nigeria), Loncville (South Africa), Nakaaya Sumari (Tanzania), Nathalie Makoma (Congo), Nathan Ro ( South Africa) and D Banj have at some point been linked to the label.
