Atwal Aduok recently released his debut Album‘ Trap Heaven‘ at a successful concert of the same name last week and I must say trap lovers can’t have enough of it. Trap music has taken over the world and it’s interesting to see how Kenyan artists are experimenting with the sound. ‘Trap Heaven’ is one of the latest gateways to this wave of Kenya’s evolving Hip Hop/Trap scene.

While the mention of Trap Music may suggest an already monotonous approach, Atwal gives the project a midas touch, unlocking his trademark sound which  fuses a collection of genres in just one song. The Album is a ‘Persons of Interest’  section, flooded with some of the most sought after rappers, vocalists and songwriters in Nairobi who brought their A – game to the 13-track project. The album features; Steph Kapela, Uneek, Dave Ndegwa, Fena Gitu, Zonda, Nuru, Kelvin K, Chief Mufasa, B.V Accurate, Shukid, Rain ‘De, Ivory Namara, Khaligraph Jones, Timmy Tim and The Posse.
